An internal joint restraint system for the Rieber belling process, featuring a plastic casing and a proprietary internal lobular spline, in combination with the long-proven Rieber gasket. The casing provides a spline groove on the socket side without compromising its wall thickness or requiring a machining process. The lobular spline installed in the casing before assembly engages automatically upon spigot insertion.
