Hultec Acquires RieberLok

Hultec has purchased Birmingham, AL-based RieberLok® to enhance its support for the market’s growing preference for internal restraint technology.

“RieberLok gaskets — suitable for water, wastewater and other pipe fittings — expand our product portfolio and give us a competitive edge to directly sell one of the fastest, easiest and least expensive solutions to restrain in the field,”

With RieberLok, according to Ross, there is no need to use bolts, rods, clamps, thrust blocks or other restraining devices.

Gaskets are available today in sizes from four to 24 inches, with plans to expand with additional sizes along with new size standards to fit global demands. RieberLok gaskets are compatible with ANSI/AWWA C9OO and C909 pipe and fittings.

Ross anticipates a seamless transition for RieberLok customers with no disruption to quality of service.
